Easy Inner Peace
61How to find Inner Peace easily
People in Inner Peace Movements will tell you that Inner peace is something we all want. Some of us are aware of our needs in order to get it, many of us are looking outward to find it.
Drinks, social gatherings, smoking, going out, watching television, they are all ways for many people to get the inner peace they are longing for.
However, Inner Peace is only found inside ourselves. It is possible to have inner peace in a totally chaotic world, and it is possible to have total inner chaos in a totally serene environment.
In this hub I will show you my preferred technique to get to Inner Peace easily and almost effortlessly.
Meditate?
Many people, and even more people that are active in Inner Peace Movements, will tell you you have to meditate in order to get inner peace. It is good for you body, for your health, for your mind. I agree with all of that, but I also know that I foten do not have the time or the patience to sit and meditate. Besides, I am a Mom and a housewife too, and somehow always something goes wrong when I try to get somequiet time for myself. Either the neighbour calls because she needs help, or my kids start to fight, or the dogs bark like total idiots because a car pulled up on the drive and I have to see who it is.
So, meditation is no the right thing for me, and after having tried for a long time, I just plainly gave up.
Now, there are a couple of easy quiet times for me during the day. The first is the early morning: I'mnormally up first, and the first hour or so is nice and quiet. I normally do my household chores and I write an article or a hubpage (this one is an example!). I decided that this first moment of the day actually is perfect for some me-time.
Then there is the times that I am in the bathroom. Sorry if i disturb you with this confession, but if i lock the door and just pretend I'm not there, even my kids tend to leave me alone at least for 5 or 10 minutes.
At night I like to sleep early, and often I'm in the bed first, which means another half hour of quiet time for me alone.
Now, as I said, meditating is not a good plan because I do get disturbed more than occasionally. So I needed to find a technique which allows met to drop in and out of the process.
What I found
After a lot off trial and error, I found a technique which allows me to get rid of all the negative emotions and to find inner peace in a fast and effective way, and the best of it is that it is free. I love free stuff :)
The technique I am referring to is EFT, or Emotional Freedom Techniques. On the website http://EFTUniverse.com you can find a free manual and lots of free videos and training material.
For me, it means that I can pick a negative emotion or person or issue that has been bugging me, and I just clean it like i would clean a dirty spot on my kitchen floor. I know, it sounds kind of weird, but really, that's how it works. I can wrote a whole lot about it, but I suggest that you pick up the free manual on the website and just give it a go. And don't forget to put in a comment below (and maybe some thumbs up ;)?)
